Description

Full Red 1894 Indian Cent, MS66

1894 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The Indian cent is still considered a common type coin, even 100 years after the last ones were struck. Of course that is the case with coins from the 1880s through 1909 in circulated grades. However, in mint condition and especially with intact, full red luster these coins are anything but common. This is a splendid example that has slightly lighter color in the center of the obverse. We see no carbon spotting on either side nor are there any obvious abrasions. Population: 23 in 66 Red, 0 finer (8/09).(Registry values: N2998)
