1898 1C MS66 Red NGC. CAC. The sun-gold obverse contrasts markedly with the more vivid cherry-red reverse. Both sides are equally lustrous, and both are unabraded. The cheek has a few pinpoint flecks. Census: 23 in 66 Red, 9 finer (11/09).Ex: New York Bullet (Heritage, 7/2002), lot 153.
