Description

1900 Indian Head Cent, MS67 Red
None Numerically Finer at Either Service

1900 1C MS67 Red PCGS. The 1900 Indian Head cent is one of the most challenging dates of the era to locate in higher Mint State grades despite a mintage of over 68,800,000 coins. The 1900 issue had a record high production for the series up to that point. Only 10 examples have achieved the MS67 Red level from PCGS and NGC combined, with neither service having awarded a higher numeric grade to a single example (10/13). A gorgeous Superb Gem, this coin exhibits lustrous surfaces, lovely copper-orange color, and a sharp strike. A few tiny flyspecks are present, but are not distracting.(Registry values: N2998)
