Description

1906 Cent, MS67 Red
Tied for Finest Certified

1906 1C MS67 Red PCGS. CAC. A mintage in excess of 96 million coins confirms the 1906 cent as a common date from an absolute sense, and even full Red Gems are not difficult to find. Numerically finer pieces, however, are highly elusive, and Superb Gems with any color designation are prohibitively rare.

This blazing representative showcases exceptional visual appeal with sharp design elements, vibrant, frosty mint luster, and seemingly unblemished orange-red surfaces. This piece is a full grade point finer than the example represented in the all-time finest Registry Set, and is one of only three MS67 Red pieces certified at PCGS and NGC combined, with none finer (4/14).(Registry values: N2998)
