1909 Indian Cent, MS66+ Red
Outstanding Final-Year Type Coin
1909 1C MS66+ Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Perfection 1. The lustrous
and undisturbed surfaces are predominantly orange-red but exhibit
traces of olive-green. Marks are absent, and the occasional
pinpoint fleck requires a lens to locate. The strike is good
despite minor merging on Liberty's shoulder and the upper
feathertips. CAC lists 52 examples as MS66 Red and only one finer
as MS67. As of (1/16), PCGS has certified 19 as MS66+ Red with only
