    Description

    1909-S 1C --Cleaned--ANACS. AU Details, Net XF40. The obverse has glossy purple surfaces with yellow-brown luster at the borders. The reverse is light brown in patina but is somewhat grainy in texture. The obverse has been lightly cleaned. There are no relevant abrasions. One of the key dates of the series, but somewhat more available than the higher mintage 1877 Cent.
