Description

1909-S 1C MS64 Red and Brown NGC. The 1909-S was struck during the final year of the Indian Head cent series and its relatively low mintage of 309,000 coins makes it one of the scarcest issues in the series. Red-orange and mahogany-brown patina drapes the surfaces of this well-struck near-Gem. A few tiny copper spots are barely worthy of note. Housed in an early NGC holder.(Registry values: N1793)
