1909-S Indian Cent, MS65 Red
Famous Branch Mint Key
1909-S 1C MS65 Red NGC. The 1909-S is the lowest mintage
regular issue of the small cent denomination. The design change of
that year led to the saving of many examples, but those are
promptly secured by the many collectors of the series. This lovely
Gem displays a crisp strike and uniform pumpkin-gold color. We note
only a smattering of pinpoint carbon and a small russet freckle
between the ED in UNITED. Housed in a circa-2000 holder.From The Jona Collection. (Registry values: N2998)
