Description

1869 1C MS65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. This attractive Choice example exhibits sharply detailed design elements, with light clashing on both sides. The still-lustrous, well-preserved surfaces show a mix of original red, light brown, and crimson patina. The unlisted variety is interesting for its many parallel die lines near Liberty's neck and profile. CAC: 34 in 65, 3 finer (4/19).(Registry values: N1793)
