    Description

Elegant 1877 Cent, MS63 Red and Brown

1877 1C MS63 Red and Brown NGC. An unworn and visually appealing example, pleasingly detailed with reddish-orange and walnut-brown surfaces. Shallow depressions on Liberty's neck and in the fields to the left are all that account for the grade. A noteworthy and highly desirable representative of this prominent Indian cent key, one far less available than its stated mintage of 852,500 pieces might suggest.(Registry values: N2998)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2284, PCGS# 2128)

    Weight: 3.11 grams
