Description

1885 Indian Cent, MS66 Red
Prohibitively Rare Finer in Red Condition

1885 1C MS66 Red PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. An exceptionally sharp, satiny Premium Gem, yielding subtle reflectivity in the fields. Rich copper-orange and golden hues earn the Red designation from PCGS. A few pepper specks on each side are not bothersome. The 1885 Indian cent is rarely offered this fine in full Red condition. Only a single numerically finer Red example is reported. Population: 26 in 66 (6 in 66+) Red, 1 finer (11/21). CAC: 7 in 66, 1 finer (12/21).(Registry values: N2998)
