    Description

    1908-S Cent, MS65 Red
    Inaugural S-Mint Issue

1908-S 1C MS65 Red PCGS. CAC. This is a highly attractive 1908-S cent. The surfaces are uniformly bright and show even reddish-yellow mint luster. The upper feather of the headdress is indistinct, as always on this die pairing. The only flaw is a spot of carbon at 12 o'clock at the top of the reverse. There is also a piece of unknown debris at 4 o'clock on the reverse that appears to be inert.
Ex: Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2011), lot 3108.
    From The Triplets Collection. (Registry values: N1793) (NGC ID# 2296, PCGS# 2234)
