Description

1908 $10 Motto MS62 NGC. A Congressional mandate required that the IN GOD WE TRUST motto be restored to the eagle after it was omitted by Saint-Gaudens. Both No Motto and Motto types were struck in 1908, which makes this a popular year among type collectors. Delightful yellow-gold patina endows the minimally marked surfaces, with small streaks of darker toning throughout. Captivating luster highlights the powerfully impressed design elements.(Registry values: N991)
