Description

1908 Motto Ten Dollar, MS65
High-Luster, Rich Yellow-Gold Color

1908 $10 Motto MS65 PCGS. A highly lustrous, satin-smooth Gem eagle that is always popular as the first Motto type of the denomination. This example is sharply struck and minimally marked, with only minor weakness at the eagle's shoulder definition. While substantially more-available than its No Motto counterpart, MS65 examples are scarce and in demand by both series and type specialists. Rich, yellow-gold color displays occasional orange-gold hues. Population: 82 in 65 (3 in 65+), 44 finer (6/16).
