Description
Shining MS65 1908-D Motto Ten Dollar
1908-D $10 Motto MS65 PCGS. While the 1908-D With Motto ten dollar issue has a mintage nearly four times that of its No Motto counterpart, the two dates are actually comparable in price through most grades. It is only in Gem and better that the With Motto proves more available, though both issues are condition rarities so fine. This lustrous MS65 representative is solidly struck with frosted, lightly patinated yellow-gold surfaces. A small copper alloy spot is noted to the left of Liberty's lips, but both sides are refreshingly mark-free. Population: 13 in 65, 7 finer (6/10).(Registry values: N7079)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GK, PCGS# 8860, GSID# 9760)
