Description
1908-D No Motto Ten Dollar, MS62
Challenging Issue in Higher Grades
1908-D $10 No Motto MS62 PCGS. The 1908-D No Motto eagle is
an interesting issue from the standpoint of its mintmark location.
It is the only branch mint issue to have the mintmark placed to the
upper left of the olive branch. On subsequent dates it appears to
the left of the arrow points. The present coin is in a highly
collectible Mint State grade that is difficult to locate any finer.
Smooth wheat-gold color blankets both sides, with relatively few
light contact marks for the assigned grade.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GH, PCGS# 8854, Greysheet# 9759)
