1908-D $10 No Motto MS63 NGC. The 1908-D No Motto is in the upper echelon of difficult issues within this challenging series, and most certified survivors fall a shade below Mint State. Select Mint State coins such as the present piece are in great demand, since few examples were saved of this second-year issue. The present coin offers strong mint luster radiating from the reddish-gold surfaces. The strike is somewhat weak on the lower headdress feathers--a feature common to most survivors--but the few minor marks, chiefly on the obverse, are in keeping with the grade.
