Description

1908-S Eagle, MS61
Pleasing for the Grade

1908-S $10 MS61 NGC. With a rather low mintage of 59,850 pieces, the 1908-S is among the more difficult Indian gold eagles to locate in Mint State, though pleasing examples can be found with some searching. This coin displays above-average eye appeal for the grade, with no major abrasions present. Soft, slightly muted green-gold luster blankets each side, complementing the well-defined design elements.
