Description

Lustrous 1908-S Indian Ten, MS64

1908-S $10 MS64 PCGS. While the mintage of just 59,850 coins ranks the '08-S as one of the important issues in the Indian eagle series, enough are available in higher grades that nearly any enthusiast can own an attractive example. The lustrous and frosty surfaces are finely granular, an appearance that Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth note as typical for many examples of the date. The surfaces are brilliant yellow with hints of orange toning. Both sides have excellent design definition that adds to its exceptional aesthetic appeal. Population: 28 in 64, 32 finer (7/08).(Registry values: N4719)
