Description
1909-D Ten, Appealing MS63
Undervalued at This Level
1909-D $10 MS63 PCGS. The frosty, finely grained surfaces
display cartwheel luster that exceeds the numeric grade in eye
appeal. As often seen on this scarce and underrated Denver issue, a
few light bagmarks visit the high points and the strike -- while
generally sharp -- shows slight blending at the eagle's shoulder
and trailing leg. The mintage of 121,450 pieces yields few Select
Uncirculated or finer examples. PCGS reports just 42 numerically
finer coins (6/16).From The Conch Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
