Description

MS64+ 1909-S Indian Ten
Rare Any Finer

1909-S $10 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The 1909-S is much scarcer than its mintage implies. Most of the production went into West Coast circulation, since PCGS has graded pieces as low as Fine 12. In fact, a majority of certified examples are in grades less than Mint State. The present Choice caramel-gold representative is sharply struck and unabraded with a few flecks of struck-in grease (as coined) near the eagle's back leg. Population: 4 in 64+, 25 finer (2/12).(Registry values: N2998)

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
Weight: 16.72 grams
AGW: 0.53oz
