MS66 1910 Eagle
1910 $10 MS66 PCGS. CAC. The moderate mintage of 318,500
coins and good subsequent survival ensure that this date is
available in collectible grades. Garrett and Guth write of the 1910
Brilliant Luster, Sharp Strike
"The 1910 issue is one of the more available dates in all grades, including Gem Mint State and higher. As with other Philadelphia Mint coins, the luster and strike are all that a collector could hope to find. Although the mintage is small when compared with a few other common dates, enough were saved to satisfy collector demand."
Actually, coins such as the present Premium Gem that exceed the MS65 grade level are not so plentiful, as the PCGS data indicate. This piece offers frosty honey-gold color with a sharp strike and brilliant luster. Population: 18 in 66, 4 finer (11/11).
