Description

1910-S Indian Eagle, MS64
Conditional Semikey

1910-S $10 MS64 PCGS. The 1910-S Indian eagle is a legendary rarity in Gem condition, and even at the Choice level it is exceedingly scarce. This MS64 example displays satiny wheat-gold luster and minimally abraded surfaces -- only light contact on the high points of the design limits the grade. The strike is slightly soft on the eagle's shoulder but is otherwise well-executed. A finer example will prove to be far out of reach for most collectors. Population: 30 in 64 (2 in 64+), 4 finer (1/16).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 268D, PCGS# 8867, Greysheet# 9765)
