1911 $10 MS64 NGC. CAC. Despite the mintage exceeding a half-million coins, the 1911 Indian eagle is a difficult issue at the Gem level. This near-Gem boasts mellow orange-gold coloration, with good luster and strong eye appeal. Marks are minimal for the grade, although we note a tiny copper alloy spot on the eagle's lower right (facing) leg.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GT, PCGS# 8868, GSID# 9751)
