Attractive Choice 1911 Ten
1911 $10 MS64 NGC. Despite a mintage of just over half a million pieces, the 1911 eagle is elusive in Gem and better grades; thus, the virtues of a Choice coin such as the present piece are easily appreciated. The orange-gold surfaces offer marvelous luster with a touch of satin. The crisply struck devices are carefully preserved, save for a small flaw at Liberty's lower cheek that precludes an even finer designation.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GT, PCGS# 8868, GSID# 9751)
