Description

1911-D Eagle, AU58
Generous Remaining Luster

1911-D $10 AU58 NGC. All of the 1911-D gold coins are rare and low-mintage issues, but the 1911-D quarter eagle is the sole key to its series as a result. In contrast, the 1911-D eagle, while the most conditionally elusive overall, joins several other low-mintage keys in the ten dollar collection, including the 1913-S, 1920-S, and 1930-S issues. This near-Mint 1911-D eagle offers lush apricot-gold coloration over lustrous surfaces that show only slight high-point wear and few signs of contact.(Registry values: N1793)
