1912 $10 MS65 NGC. A splendidly smooth and lustrous lemon-tinged Gem. Exceptional quality for the issue. There is no shortage of 1912 eagles in scuffy Mint State, but Gems are rare, since the coins were regarded as bullion prior to Roosevelt's 1933 gold recall. Encased in a former generation holder. Census: 58 in 65, 17 finer (5/10).(Registry values: N4719)
