Better Date 1912-S Indian Head Ten, MS63

1912-S $10 MS63 NGC. The 1912-S Indian Head eagle boasts a small mintage of 300,000 pieces and is difficult to locate in Mint State grades today. The present coin is well struck, with just a touch of softness on the hair and wing, as often seen on this issue. The surfaces are lustrous and bright. A few scattered handling marks on the cheek are consistent with the grade. Census: 34 in 63, 41 finer (3/09).(Registry values: N2998)
