Description

1912-S Ten Dollar Indian, MS64+
Conditionally Scarce

1912-S $10 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The San Francisco Mint struck only 300,000 Indian eagles in 1912, and the date is elusive in the context of the series. Coins in MS64 are decidedly scarce, and finer pieces are rare. This Plus-designated coin yields a sharp strike and vibrant yellow-gold luster, with mostly clean fields. Population: 88 in 64 (29 in 64+), 17 finer (5/24).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GX, PCGS# 8872, Greysheet# 9768)

Weight: 16.72 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
