Splendid 1913-S Eagle, AU58
1913-S $10 AU58 NGC. The 1913-S eagle's mintage of 66,000 pieces is on the low side for the series, and it is seldom seen in higher grades. This piece saw brief circulation, but has remarkably clean surfaces and shows no marks worthy of mention. Lovely yellow patina covers each side and has a slight orange tint. Attractive, cartwheel luster gives this piece excellent eye appeal. (Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28GZ, PCGS# 8874, GSID# 9769)
