Description

Near-Mint State 1913-S Eagle
Second-Rarest Series Issue

1913-S $10 AU58 NGC. The 1913-S is the second-rarest Indian eagle issue, following the 1911-D. This near-Mint State example shows just a whisper of high-point rub, along with the often-seen semicircular mark in the lower-left field that runs through two digits of the date, some kind of Mint-made anomaly that the issue shares with the 1911-S. Almost all of the original mint luster is present, and contact evidence is minimal.(Registry values: N1793)
