Description

1914-D Indian Eagle, MS65
Last D-Mint Circulating Ten

1914-D $10 MS65 PCGS. There are no absolute rarities among Indian Head ten dollar coins from Denver. Unlike Philadelphia and San Francisco -- both of which produced at least one issue in the 1930s -- Denver stopped striking the denomination after the 1914-D issue. This is a Gem example of the final classic-era ten dollar issue struck at Denver, greatly appealing and a borderline condition rarity this fine. Wheat-gold and yellow surfaces swirl with luster and show only a few tiny marks and scuffs. Population: 40 in 65 (6 in 65+), 13 finer (5/23).
