Description
1914-D Ten Dollar Indian, MS66
Rarely Offered This Fine
Exceptionally Well Struck
1914-D $10 MS66 NGC. A nearly full strike complements the
glistening, satiny mint luster of this high-end Premium Gem. Lovely
orange-gold hues with hints of lilac and peach-yellow adorn each
side, and there are no mentionable abrasions. The 1914-D Indian
eagle comes from a mintage of 343,500 pieces. This is a median
production total in the context of the series, and as a result the
date is plentiful through MS64 but conditionally scarce finer.
Premium Gems like the present are rare, and only a handful of finer
pieces are known. Census: 14 in 66, 7 finer (5/25).(Registry values: N7079)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28H3, PCGS# 8876, GSID# 9770)
