Description
Attractive MS62 1916-S Eagle
1916-S $10 MS62 NGC. This issue is available in Mint State due to a couple of hoard discoveries and repatriations from Europe. Today Garrett and Guth rank it the 10th most difficult issue in the series. This attractive piece has deep orange-gold surfaces, with a few high-point abrasions on Liberty's cheek and the eagle precluding an even finer grade (9/09).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28H7, PCGS# 8880, GSID# 9773)
