    Description

1916-S $10 MS62 PCGS. CAC. The 1916-S was the final gold eagle struck at any mint until 1920. Production amounted to 138,500 pieces, and Mint State coins are scarce in the context of the series. This piece displays bright yellow-gold mint luster and a good strike. Light, scattered abrasions are as expected for the grade, although none are overly detracting.(Registry values: N1793)

The outcome of the auction far exceeded my best hopes and would not likely have been as successful with out your sound advice on where to present the coin and how best to set the reserve. Throughout the process your availability , support and knowledge were exceptional.
