Description

1926 $10 MS64 PCGS. A radiant canary-gold type coin that has a good strike and vibrant luster. Magnification reveals only tiny scattered marks. Since double eagles were a more convenient denomination for counting large sums, and gold coins seldom circulated after World War I, no ten dollar pieces were struck at Philadelphia for the ten years between 1916 and 1925.(Registry values: N1793)
