Description

Compelling MS66 1932 Indian Eagle

1932 $10 MS66 PCGS. CAC. After a six-year period with no ten dollar production at Philadelphia, more than 4.4 million pieces were coined in 1932. Many remained in Treasury vaults, since double eagles were more convenient for international trade. A number must have been released, however, since the 1932 is substantially more available than the 1931 twenty, which also had a relatively high mintage. The present piece is a charming honey-gold Premium Gem whose vibrant luster and smooth surfaces confirm its lofty grade. Population: 82 in 66, 1 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N2998)
