1908-S $5 MS61 NGC. The 1908-S is a challenging acquisition in Mint State, coming from a mintage of only 82,000 coins, although pieces exist in most grades for the patient collector. This piece is an attractive entry-level Mint State example, with satiny sun-gold patina and pleasing luster. Remarkably few noticeable abrasions are evident.
