Rose-Toned 1908-S Indian Five, MS62
1908-S $5 MS62 PCGS. Only 82,000 1908-S half eagles were minted, and survivors are elusive, although available with some searching. For collectors seeking Mint State examples, the hunt is difficult. This green-label PCGS certified representative has deep rose toning over the yellow-gold obverse, with lighter yellow on the reverse.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DG, PCGS# 8512, GSID# 9318)
