1908-S $5 MS64 PCGS. Only 82,000 pieces were struck of this first-year issue. While not quite as difficult as one might imagine (or as rare as it has been touted in the past), the 1908-S is, nevertheless, a very scarce item in a high grade. The surfaces of this piece show the soft, frosted mint luster that characterize this issue and the striking details are sharply defined throughout.
