1909 $5 MS64 NGC. 1909 half eagles are seldom seen in higher grades, and NGC has certified only 52 coins finer than the present piece (7/08). Flashy luster gleams from the attractive yellow-gold surfaces and gives this example splendid eye appeal. A powerfully struck representative with minimal abrasions.
