Reddish-Gold 1909-D Five Dollar, MS64
1909-D $5 MS64 NGC. CAC. The CAC sticker says a great deal about the overall quality of this coin. The surfaces are uncommonly lustrous and show none of the often-encountered green patina in the fields. In fact, the surfaces are uniformly reddish-gold. This type is normally heavily abraded, but that is clearly not the case here. All of which adds up to a superior, upper-end type piece.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DJ, PCGS# 8514, GSID# 9319)
