Description
1909-O Five Dollar Indian, AU53
A Worthwhile Find in This Grade
1909-O $5 AU53 NGC. If one were to only examine auction
appearances, it might appear that the 1909-O is relatively
available in Uncirculated grades. However, just the opposite is
true. An AU piece, such as this one, is a find for the collector of
the series or of five dollar Indians. Slight friction is seen over
the high points of each side, and there are numerous, small
handling marks in the fields and over the devices from its short
time in circulation, but none are large or noteworthy. From The Jeepy-Louise Collection.(Registry values: N2998)
