Popular AU58 1909-O Half Eagle
1909-O $5 AU58 ANACS. The final New Orleans half eagle is also the lowest-mintage issue of its design, and those two facts combine for insatiable demand from collectors. This example, yellow-gold with pleasing luster and just a touch of rub, could find a home in an otherwise Mint State collection. Several abrasions appear around the stars to the right of the Y in LIBERTY.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25ZK, PCGS# 8515, GSID# 9320)
