Description

Difficult 1909-O Half Eagle, XF40

1909-O $5 XF40 PCGS. Bright yellow-gold surfaces display faint traces of apricot and mint-green, and the design elements are relatively strong for the grade, though the mintmark is weak. Light abrasions are in concert with a coin having seen some circulation. One of the most difficult dates in the Indian Head half eagle series.(Registry values: N1793)
