Minute distributed marks are more or less in line with a coin having seen light circulation, and the design elements retain a good amount of detail. This issue is popular owing to its low mintage (34,200 pieces) and status as the only Indian Head half eagle to be struck at the New Orleans Mint.(Registry values: N1793)
