Description
1909-S Indian Half Eagle, MS64+
CAC-Endorsed Quality
1909-S $5 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. This sharply detailed Indian half
eagle is an exceptional Choice Mint State representative of the
low-mintage 1909-S issue that had a production of only 297,200
coins, ranking 11th of the 24 issues. The Certified Acceptance
Corporation was happy to approve this beautiful example that
features impressive light reddish highlights on its orange-gold
surfaces that exhibit a high degree of frosty mint luster. The
surfaces have minimal, inconsequential marks. Although below the
Gem level, this outstanding 1909-S half eagle will make a nice
addition to an advanced cabinet of Indian gold coins. PCGS
