Few Known Finer
1910-D $5 MS64 PCGS. Ex: The Fairmont Collection. The Denver
Mint struck only 193,600 half eagles in 1910, making examples
scarce in this grade and rare finer. This piece shows original
orange-gold patina and a bold strike, with a strong mintmark and
well defined headdress feathers. Scattered light marks are present
but not distracting.(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DL, PCGS# 8518, Greysheet# 9322)
