Description

High-End MS64 1910-D Indian Five

1910-D $5 MS64 PCGS. Fortunately for the many connoisseurs of this series, the 1910-D is an issue that is both well produced and frequently encountered in Mint State, all the way up to the rarefied levels above MS65, although those pieces are of course few and far between. The heightened availability and quality of the issue, like so many 20th century gold coins, are due to repatriations of high quality coins from overseas. This piece offers lustrous, delightful orange-gold surfaces tinged with azure and gray on the highpoints. While a few tiny contact marks on the reverse appear to account for the grade, the piece nonetheless appears quite high-end and appealing. Population: 26 in 64, 10 finer (7/07).
