1911 $5 MS65 PCGS....
Description
1911 Five Dollar Indian, MS65
Prohibitively Rare Any Finer
1911 $5 MS65 PCGS. Vibrantly lustrous fields and sharp
devices complement the rich orange-gold and peach-honey hues that
comprise this coin's eye-catching luminance. The obverse is
especially clean, while a few marks in the reverse field are as
expect for the issue and not out of line for the grade. Examples of
this Philadelphia issue in MS65 are elusive, and merely a handful
of finer pieces are known. We have only ever seen a single finer
piece in our auctions, an NGC coin in 2019. The current PCGS Gem is
an outstanding opportunity for the advanced Registry collector.
